As from 1 June 2009, the following rules shall apply to all bookings made after this date in all Great Lakes Council caravan parks:
Peak and Off Peak Periods (December/January, Easter and September/October school holidays):
All Other Periods:
Bookings Made by Phone on Day of Arrival
Peak Period (December/January school holidays):
Off Peak Period (Easter and October school holidays):
All Other Times
Any fees not paid in full in accordance with the above provisions shall result in forfeiture of the booking and any deposit previously made in respect of the booking. Council shall be entitled to rebook the relevant site/cabin to another party.
Council will accept the following methods for payments of deposit or any fees due:
Please note that all cheques are subject to clearance. Council and park management do not offer payment by direct credit or direct debit.
Preference in respect of site/cabin bookings for the ensuing year shall be given to customers who have a booking for the current year, and any such bookings for the following year's school holiday periods (peak and off peak seasons) must be made prior to departure and deposits paid within 14 days of departure.
Deposits and/or bookings will not be taken in respect of periods of more than twelve (12) months in advance.
Preference shall be given to weekly bookings in respect of pre-booked accommodation during peak and off-peak periods (School holiday periods of Dec/Jan, Easter & Sept/Oct).
Refunds of deposits and fees paid are available from North Coast Holiday Parks under certain circumstances:
Where at least 28 days notice of cancellation has been given before being due to arrive, deposits or prepayments will be refunded with the following options:
Option A: Full credit of deposit or prepayment to a future booking. Deferral dates must be provided at the time of request. Deferring can only happen once with any booking and if the 2nd booking cannot be kept the whole deposit is lost. Any deferred dates must be within 12 months of the original booking date.
Option B: Refund of deposit or prepayment less $30.00 Administration Fee.
Where less than 28 days written notice has been given or for partial cancellation
If site is re-booked then Options A and B are applicable
If site is not re-booked, no refund is applicable.

NB This Administration Fee is charged regardless of cash, cheque or credit card refunds.
Where less than 7 days written notice of cancellation has been given:
A cancellation fee of the first nights accommodation will apply. Other amounts deposited above the first nights accommodation will be refunded either via cash, cheque or credit card upon a written application by the guest.
NOTIFICATION FOR BOOKINGS CANCELLED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF BEING DUE TO ARRIVE WILL FORFEIT FULL DEPOSIT

In the event of flooding and SES has recommended moving to higher ground a refund will be given for nights paid and not stayed. Otherwise it is park manager's discretion to determine whether a refund should be provided.
